My BFF, Marlene, spent the February Long Weekend (Louis Riel Day) in Brandon. We usually talk business, and this w/e was no different, but we seemed to have accomplished a lot more on the 3 days we were together than we expected. There were off times, of course, and the heavy snowfall over Friday night to Saturday noon, gave me an opportunity to snap a few photographs of the mounds of new snow, both in front and in back. And in the evening, I caught Marlene and Michael soaking in the steaming hot tub.
The hot tub during the day with just enough snow cleared away for access.

Our birdbath sporting a fashionable chapeau of white show.

The snow clearers had just cleaned all the snow off the driveway, but the road is still impassable due to the heavy drifts.

This is what we see at when we glance out the front window…

After a long day of synergizing, a good soak is what the doctor orders… I had already had mine when I took this photo of Marlene and Michael!

… the outside temperature was about -15C, hence the steam. The tub temperature was 39C.
